Members of CGI are responsible for setting their career objectives and pursuing their professional development in a manner consistent with the company's goals and objectives. In keeping with CGI's values, members are also encouraged to take every opportunity to:
- Act as coach or mentor in the process of integrating new members, as well as in other professional activities.
- Promote continuous improvement by participating in quality improvement, synergy and practice development initiatives.
- Participate in seminars, courses and conferences, and share their knowledge with their colleagues.
CGI's Leadership Institute
As an international company, we need to ensure that we lead from a common spirit and a shared vision, aligned with common goals and a clear business model. At CGI, we also believe that leadership may be demonstrated by members at all levels. This sets the tone for our leadership development initiatives.
The Leadership Institute, CGI’s own corporate university, was founded on CGI’s 25th anniversary in 2001. Its mission is to provide CGI with best practices and education to ensure the continuous development of quality leadership, inspired by CGI’s roots and traditions.
The development framework of the Institute is very much tied to gaining leadership aptitude through teamwork, while offering programs that promote the best leadership skills and practices. Our quality of leadership is strategic to maintaining our success in a highly competitive world.
