• Spend analysis. Through a 4-8 week process, our proven PRISM® solution produces a consolidated picture of all expenditures across a government jurisdiction. Armed with this knowledge, governments have a better understanding of where taxpayers’ money is being spent, and can determine where to achieve the most cost savings and focus contract compliance efforts.
  
  
• Opportunity assessment. Our team analyzes contracts and usage for key areas of spending and then identifies savings opportunities and develops a strategic sourcing plan, including the identification of pilot categories that achieve quick-hit savings to fund longer-term initiatives. As a result, clients gain valuable information of their sourcing opportunities without investing significant amounts of time, resources and money.
  
  
• Strategic sourcing. We know what private sector companies pay for goods and services and we hold vendors accountable to what they charge governments of similar sizes. Additionally we account for public sector factors that are important for project success, including leveraging organization-wide purchasing volume, understanding purchasing codes and regulations, and leveling the playing field for small, local and disadvantaged businesses. • E-Procurement technology. CGI implements state-of-the-art e-procurement technology to reduce transaction costs while improving efficiency and compliance.
  
  
• Government procurement process improvement analysis. CGI reviews clients’ workflow and approval processes to determine if it is being done properly and efficiently under current legal and regulatory requirements. We also make recommendations to streamline these processes or to rewrite statutes, policies or regulations to make the procurement process more efficient.
  
  
• Procurement outsourcing. Pay

• Compliance and savings monitoring (CSM). CSM establishes a valuable reporting tool that allows officials to monitor spending and savings through new contracts along several key dimensions. This data-driven insight pinpoints exactly where to focus, which agencies are failing to use new contracts, and where additional savings can be found.
  
  
• A/P audit recovery. CGI works with clients to identify erroneous payments through a systematic analysis of accounts payable transactions and through the implementation of a formal collections program to recoup these funds.
