from MPower, CGI's flagship portfolio administration solution, MView readily integrates data from your other source
systems and external feeds. Now it is easy to consolidate, analyze and disseminate information from your total data

What is MView?
CGI’s data warehouse solution that provides a central data hub for reference, and portfolio data, and enables consolidation
of information from multiple source systems.
MView provides web enabled analysis and reporting capability, allowing the customer to distribute information and reports both internally
and externally, to tailor inquiries to their own individual requirements and consolidate information from multiple systems or sites.
As desired, inquires can be run for individual portfolios or for user defined groups of related portfolios. Results can be displayed in
traditional table format or graphically, or exported for inclusion in other desktop applications that support file import, including word
processors and spreadsheets as well as Crystal Reports. With each inquiry the ability to drill down to the lowest denominator will
provide the forensic capability often desired in the creation of inquiries and/or reports. High quality online reporting and hard copy
reporting is available for client presentations and statements.
How does MView work?
MView allows users to have access to their data from MPower through the ReportNet product, from Cognos to perform ad-hoc reporting and
data analysis. This offering is supported as a core MPower module in an ASP environment. Data will be provided via the staging area,
loaded from the production environment to the MView product. This module will have no negative processing throughput effects on
the MPower production environment, where data will be loaded once a day, or on a more frequent basis depending the customer’s
requirements.
