PIERRE TURCOTTE - Senior Vice-President and General Manager, Quebec
Pierre Turcotte joined CGI in 1983 as a consultant. He is currently Senior Vice-President and General Manager for Quebec operation including Greater Montreal area, Quebec City and Saguenay. Leading more than 4,000 information technology professionals, he is responsible for directing all commercial activities including business development and service delivery in technology management, as well as systems integration and management consulting.
With over 25 years of service at CGI, Mr. Turcotte has made several major contributions to the company including the management and delivery of large projects in the financial, government and manufacturing sectors. He was responsible for the evolution of CGI’s main U.S. business unit and also for the coordination of the integration of ISI, DRT and IMRglobal.
Mr. Turcotte held several consulting and management positions at CGI, in Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City and in the United States.
He is President of the Board of Directors of CIA and part of the Board of Directors of the Pointe-à-Callière Museum and Foundation. He is also involved with several foundations, such as: Fonds de développement François-Michelle, Old Brewery Mission, Auberge du cœur, Fondation de l’Hôpital Louis H. Lafontaine and Fondation des Petits Trésors.
Mr. Turcotte holds a Bachelor from Laval University in Information Technology and Mathematics.
