Saskatchewan credit unions and CGI partner to integrate and streamline member processes
Saskatchewan Credit Unions select CGI’s CyberSuite solution
Eleven Saskatchewan-based credit unions have signed seven-year contracts
with CGI Group Inc. (CGI) to integrate CyberSuite, CGIs browser-based
application, by the fall of 2003. In doing so, the credit unions will
streamline their member processes, have their data hosted by CGI and obtain
24X7 call center support. The credit unions will benefit from customizing
their own CyberSuite tool based on their specific business needs. The
credit unions are: New Community, Nokomis Savings, North Valley, PAGE,
Prairie Diamond, Prairie Pride, Sask Valley, Simpson, Spiritwood, St.
Marys and Watrous.
CyberSuite is a suite of browser-based
solutions and services developed by CGI to help credit unions deliver
optimal service by streamlining all of their operations and enabling them
to focus on the relationship with their members. CyberSuite is designed
to give credit unions, of all sizes, leading-edge applications to help
them compete in the financial marketplace. CGIs solution, in Application
Service Provider (ASP) mode, provides the value-added integrated technology
that enables growth and profitability of membership while maintaining
a fixed per member cost over a longer period of time.
CGIs credit union team welcomes the Saskatchewan credit unions
into its family of more than 2,300 North American credit unions
and banks currently receiving IT services from CGI. To learn more about

Who said what
Our team will now be empowered by having access
to all member activity from one single source. That is going to help them
be more effective in meeting our members needs. Our goal is to further
focus on our core business. To do so, we needed a solid information technology
partner who was going to be with us for the long haul.
- Mark Lane, general manager, PAGE
CGI is thrilled to be working with a team
of such dedicated professionals. We feel confident that our easy-to-use,
efficient and comprehensive solution will play a vital role in their quest
of offering their members the best possible service.
